Raised in Oakland, California, Holland-Weiss is a painter focused on humanity and “the human” as a subject – while navigating a vibrant and poignant color palette. This artist is particularly interested in body language and charting the movement of people across space and time. She desires to uncover the overt and subtle communications of our bodies and muscle memory – striving to display what this communication says about the human experience wholistically. Lynnea Holland Weiss (b. 1990) received a Bachelor of Fine Arts, Painting & Drawing from the California College of the Arts in San Francisco, California (2013). Her work has been exhibited in New York, Switzerland, Italy, California, and many other international locations. She currently lives and works in Cleveland, Ohio.
