Jasmine Monsegue (b. 1994, Houston, TX) aka Space Brat, is a multi-disciplinary artist based in Los Angeles, CA. Monsegue’s work speaks to femininity, identity, and pop culture through the mediums of painting, sculpture, and furniture design. She works within a digital language that fuses together self-image, beauty, and the collapse of both. Monsegue’s paintings can involve a provocative brooding of womanhood and the appropriation of beauty within African-American studies as well as influence of her Afro-Caribbean background.

Recent exhibitions include Everything That Glitters, Control Gallery, Control Gallery, Los Angeles, CA (2025, solo); Nice to Finally Meet You, Good Mother Gallery, Los Angeles, CA (2024, group); and Pipe Dream, Whaam!, New York, NY (2022, solo).
